Scott Robbins

Scott Robbins is a PGA Member Professional who has achieved Quarter Century Club status for over 25 years’ service as a PGA Professional.  He has been honored as the Northern Texas PGA Teacher of the Year, nominated as Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor, Golf Range Magazine Top 50 Teacher and Avid Magazine Top 25 instructor in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Scott is currently Director of Instructional Programming at The Old American Golf Club in The Colony, Texas.  Scott and Marius have worked together developing programs for colleges, PGA Professionals and conducting schools in Dallas and Colorado.

Scott’s clientele includes adults and juniors improving their games to achieve the successes they desire. He conducts a junior development team getting young men and women ready for high school and college golf teams and beyond.  He has aided fellow PGA professionals to local and sectional events as well as two PGA Championships. Scott is proficient with bot the SAM and TOMI putting systems.

Sehan Filmalter

Sehan has a broad base of knowledge acquired from his father, PGA Professional Instructor, Marius Filmalter. In addition to instruction, Sehan is Assistant Instructor of the Marius Golf Junior Programs held at the Old American.  Before his arrival in the United States in 2007, Sehan completed the Golf Directorship and Club Management program in his hometown of Pretoria, South Africa which focused on Swing Theory, Golf Technology, Sports Science and Nutrition, and Club and Business Management. Completion of this program accredits to the PGA Professional Golf Management Program in which Sehan is a candidate.  He was then employed by Boca West Country Club and Glen Oaks Country Club in Florida and Long Island, New York, respectively. Currently, Sehan continues to study under and assist his father, Marius, in establishing the best practices to achieve putting success.

 

Chris de Keratry, Head Professional at River Place Country Club in Austin, TX jumpstarted a partnership with Marius Golf in early 2008.

Chris de Keratry is a PGA Golf Professional in Austin, TX with over 22 years of teaching experience and is one of Central Texas's finest golf Instructors. Currently Chris is Director of Instruction for three of Central Texas most prestigious courses.

Chris has developed a strong and dedicated following of students that have competed and won at every level of golf competition, (PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, College, amateur and Junior levels). Chris's ability to connect with golfers of every skill level is just one of the many traits that make him a successful golf instructor. His approach to golf instruction is focused on helping students identify their tendencies so that they can become their own best teacher.

Chris has created strong adult and junior golf programs in Central Texas that reach all skill levels and all ages. Programs include all aspects of game development including full swing, putting, chipping and pitching, wedge control, golf fitness and golfs mental game.

Chris is a former West Texas PGA Teacher of the Year and has been nominated for both the Northern Texas and Southern Texas PGA Teacher of the Year awards as well as the Junior Golf Leader for the Southern Texas PGA.

Manny Zerman

Manny Zerman was born in South Africa to Italian parents. He came over to San Diego California to complete his last year of high school where he won the Southern High School Championship in 1988. He then proceeded to the University of Arizona where he won the PAC-10 championship and the Regional Championship and was part of the NCAA National Championship team all while attending the University of Arizona. Manny was a four time All-American during his four years at Arizona.


Manny was also runner-up in the US Amateur in 1990 and 1991 which qualified him for the Masters where he made the cut both times and won the Low Amateur award. He was a member of the European ,Asian, Canadian and the Nation Wide tours winning on both the Asian and Canadian tours.

 

Manny also was a member of the World Cup and World Amateur teams for Italy and also competed in the 2000 British Open. The last nine years have been dedicated to teaching golfers of all skill levels.

Jimmy Damiano

Jimmy Damiano is a PGA Class A Professional who has been traveling and coaching with Marius for 3yrs. He is the developer of the Nantucket Golf Academy but is home base is at Glenn Oaks in Old westburry NY.

Jimmy spent 8 years as a Lead Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School at the Doral Resort. He has been a golf Instructor at some of the top clubs in the country, most recently The Nantucket Golf Club and the Glen Oaks Club on Long Island.

Jimmy has studied under and instructed with more than a dozen Top 100 Teachers. His students include tour professionals, club professionals, top amateurs, and some of America's top CEO's.

Pierre Noizet moved to the DC area in Early 2008 and opened "The Shot Shop" in McLean with Kirk Lucas in April 2010.

Pierre is the Director of Operations for Marius Golf Schools. He received his MBA from the university of Texas at Dallas where he was the MVP of the golf team. Pierre was also the Director of Product Development for Pure Motion, Inc , the maker of the TOMI putting system.
After graduating, under the mentorship of Marius and through extensive research at the 'Baylor Sports and Performance Center' as well as the 'Oklahoma Sport and Science Orthopedic Center', he has organized the largest database to date of PGA level professional putting strokes and used it to mathematically define the characteristics of a good putting stroke. In 2006, Marius and Pierre published the results of the most extensive research on the yips which established the baseline for a deeper understanding of the phenomenon (Read More). The research demonstrated that yippers did not yip during their practice strokes which pushed Marius and Pierre to develop Supertee (Read More).
